Sheri - that was that #@$%>?+ hardest thing I have
ever done

Sheri trained me for my first
Ironman. Sheri asked me what my expectations were and set up a program that
would help me attain my goal of placing in my age group. Running was my
strength, however, biking was relatively new to me and swimming was a huge
weakness. Sheri made up a program that made me work on my weaknesses and
maintain my strengths. My finishing results far exceeded my expectations, I
finished first in my age group and to top it off even broke the course record
for my age group. Another of the added benefits is that Sheri is also a RMT and
when my body protested she was there to work out the kinks and talk me through
my mental fatigue. Without Sheri's program I may have finished but I would
never have obtained my goals.

A hard work ethic, trust in your
coach and program are the things you need to bring with you when you join Team
Sheri. Sheri can help with the rest. Working with Sheri and her training
program I was able to shave 2-1/2 hours off of my Ironman time, AND I was able
to run the marathon leg of the race only 15 minutes slower than my best time in
a stand alone marathon. (Sheri conducts many Chi Running clinics and I believe
that this has been instrumental in my running improvements.) Sheri goes above
and beyond the norm of coaches. She has a VERY hands on approach offering
guided swim practices, organized brick workouts, a spring training camp, coached
open water swims, a winter of coached indoor spinnning etc.. Training with
Sheri has enabled me to take my training to the next level and to set goals that
I thought at one time were completely impossible. She has been very
instrumental in helping me to believe in myself and my abilities. I think that
Sheri and her programs are great!!!

I was already a 5 time Ironman before Sheri starting coaching me this season. My goal was to win my age-group and a Kona spot, and I realized I needed help to achieve that goal. Sheri's coaching has provided a focus, structure and discipline to my training. This season I finished 1st at
Peterborough Half-Ironman and 3rd at Ironman Florida with a personal best,
and look forward to attaining my goal next season. Sheri has a hands-on
no-nonsense approach and tailors her program to my needs as an older athlete
to prevent overtraining and injury. Thanks Sheri!

II had 21 years of triathlon experience and 5
Ironmans under my belt when I started working with Sheri. In 5 months her
coaching has seen me cut 20 min off my Ironman time FROM 1990 and realize my
dream of earning a Kona spot. This resurrection was not magic but a result of 3
factors: intuition, adaptability and honesty. Sheri has a intuitive grasp of
training that is uncanny, honed from her experience as a professional athlete
and her understanding of body mechanics as a massage therapist. She is dedicated
to working hands on with her
> athletes and has sped me up more focusing on my technique rather than just
doing more miles. Foremost Sheri is true. She will listen to your goals and
work you at an appropriate level to achieve them. And like any great
> coach she will praise you, push you and prod you to be your best, and
always tell it like it is!

Sheri did a great job of getting me ready for my first Ironman at Lake
Placid last year. As a mom of 3 kids who works full time and has a
fairly busy travel schedule, Sheri was very accommodating with my
workouts. This was not a canned program. She was able to shift my
schedule to cope with trips away, work requirements, and the demands of
family life. In the end I had a great day, going 11:46 and
finishing with a smile on my face! Looking forward to next year
already.

After completing four marathons without much improvement in my time, I had to admit to myself that I had reached a plateau. I knew I would need some help in order to improve my time. I approached Sheri about training me for my next marathon. Under Sheri's coaching, I not only achieved a PB of 20 minutes, I qualified for Boston!

I came to
Sheri less than two years ago with a dream: to finish an Ironman right after my
19th birthday. Everybody told me how tough it would be and that I
probably wouldn’t be able to do it. Sheri, on the other hand, believed in me
from the beginning, and right from our first meeting, laid out a plan as to how
I would do it. The past two years have had a lot of ups and downs in terms of
races, but Sheri’s always helped keep me focused and realistic. Sheri
understands my passion for this sport and has kept me driven. She is patient as
I am her youngest athlete and youngest Ironman finisher. Sheri has taught me
everything I know about this sport and continues to make me dream big and train
like I mean it.
